Suitable For

Suitable for dogs aged 9 months+. The dense, structural bone is not appropriate for younger puppies whose adult teeth and jaws are still developing.

A particularly good match for adult power chewers who enjoy settling down with a substantial, long-lasting natural chew.

Senior doggos can enjoy venison marrow bones if their teeth are in good condition, but the very hard texture may not be appropriate for older dogs with worn, fragile or missing teeth.

The Practical Bits

Keep each chewing session to a maximum of 20 to 30 minutes. This very dense bone is best enjoyed in shorter sessions, helping give teeth, jaws and gums a break while limiting how much bone material is consumed at once.

Choose an appropriately sized bone for your dog. Remove it if it becomes small enough to swallow or develops sharp or potentially hazardous pieces.

When chew time is over, swap the bone for a favourite treat, remove it, wipe it clean and store in a cool, dry place.
