Suitable for dogs aged 1 year+.
Best suited to strong, established chewers with healthy adult teeth. The dense, rigid structure is not suitable for puppies or young adolescent dogs with developing teeth.
Weight-conscious seniors with strong, healthy teeth can enjoy extended enrichment with very little fat. Avoid for older dogs with loose teeth, bleeding gums or significant dental decay.
The Practical Bits
Limit each chewing session to 15 to 20 minutes to help protect your dog's teeth and prevent jaw muscle fatigue.
Stuff the hollow section with your dog's usual raw food, suitable treat paste or plain Greek yoghurt and freeze for a more challenging enrichment activity.
After each session, wipe away excess saliva and leave the horn to air-dry completely for a few hours. Once dry, store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Never seal a damp horn in a plastic bag.
