The Practical Bits
The distinctive ridges and segmented bumps are completely natural. As the tail is slowly air-dried, the surrounding skin, cartilage, and muscle gently shrink around the vertebrae, creating the unique wand-like appearance that makes every chew slightly different.
For the best chewing experience, offer in sessions of around 20 to 30 minutes to help maintain the chew's novelty and enjoyment.
Remove the chew immediately once it is small enough to be swallowed whole (the 2-inch safety rule).
After each session, rinse briefly with cold water, pat dry, and allow to air-dry fully before storing.
Store openly in a cool, well-ventilated spot or, for longer-lasting freshness, store in the freezer between sessions once fully dry.
