Why Doggos Love This
- 👅 Grooves hold soft food in little spaces, encouraging your dog to spend time licking rather than gulping a treat.
- 🐾 A focused food activity offers rewarding enrichment and can help some dogs settle while the Christmas bustle carries on.
- 🧼 Dishwasher-safe care makes cleaning simple, ready for another serving of your pup’s favourite festive goodies.
The Practical Bits
Spread a thin layer of suitable wet food, pâté or a pet-safe paste across the patterned grooves. Start with an easy-to-lick serving when introducing the mat.
Choose toppings appropriate for your dog’s dietary needs and count them towards the daily food allowance. If using peanut butter, choose a xylitol-free recipe.
Dishwasher-safe, or hand wash with washing-up liquid and rinse thoroughly. Remove leftovers promptly and clean after every use.
Supervise throughout use and keep fresh water available. This is a feeding and enrichment accessory, not a chew toy. Remove if your dog starts biting or pulling at the mat.
Check regularly for wear and tear. Stop using if damaged or if any pieces become loose or detached.
